Shadowline cabinets can be used in kitchens, laundries, bathroom vanities, sleek entertainment units, study cabinetry or offices. The flat streamline look compliments the modern or contemporary home. Combined with a glass splashback and stone benchtop, these offer a fantastic finished product.
At Gumtree Joinery, our shadowline cabinets have a sharkstooth profile routed out at the top of the drawers or lower doors to act as a fingerpull to grip the door. The doors are then finished with a 2-pack polyurethane paint finish (to the client’s specification). Top cabinets can be either push open or have doors extended below the cabinets behind them to create the streamline, handle-free kitchen. The push open mechanism can be added to the lower doors too. Adding soft close mechanisms to drawers and doors adds to the contemporary feel of the kitchen.
